Gameplay
Addition of an accreditation (tutorial)
When first spawning in the ship, each player will need to go through a small tutorial (2 quick videos) to obtain accreditation and be able to start the game. The tutorial can be skipped for those who are already familiar with the game.
Introduction of Quantum Tuning
Each object can now acquire unique properties! From life steal to chemical damage to in-combat regeneration (more than 20 unique attributes!), it's up to you to use the new module ‘ QUANTUM STATION’ to 'enchant' your gear and create unique pieces of equipment!
Introduction of ranks for items
Each item will now have either 0, 1, 2, or 3 Quantum Tuning attributes, making them t0, t1, t2, or t3. For instance, an Epic armor with 2 QT (Quantum Tuning) will be Epic T2, while a Common armor with 1 QT will be Common t1. Common can have up to 1 tuning attribute, Rare and Epic up to 2, Legendary and Ultimate up to 3. (edited)
Introduction of PvP
You will now be able to decide how your clone behaves when encountering another clone. You will have two options: Hostile: Your clone fights the other clone and can steal some of the items in its backpack. Friendly: Your clone will heal 10% of the HP of the other clone. A hostile clone will always attack a friendly clone, while a friendly clone will heal a friendly clone. A friendly clone will not heal a hostile clone. Addition of the option ‘to hide’. This option instructs your clone on how to generally behave when exploring regarding possible human encounters. For instance, you can still carry out a hunter mission where your clone actively looks for monsters and doesn't necessarily act discreetly, while asking your clone to remain cautious if he encounters other clones. Player’s protection for PvP: Clones must be at least level 20 to be able to interact, and the two clones cannot have a level difference above 15 (e.g., a level 70 clone can fight clones within the level range of 55-85).
Introduction of Safe Pockets
Safe pockets allow the clone to securely store items that cannot be stolen by other clones. Each clone comes with 1 safe pocket (3 with pass), and it is possible to unlock up to a total of 10 safe pockets. Introduction of new active cards available for printing/allocation [STC]: You will now be able to use the Catcher drone, Grenade, Spy drone, and Chemical bullets to facilitate your expeditions.
Addition of the booster zone! [STC]
The booster zone is an area in the ship where some active cards can be placed to improve the ship's properties and some of your clone’s attributes. The mechanics, C-case, Laser station A22 are a few examples of the 10 actives you will be able to fine-tune for your season!
New logic: Surprise attack!
Each opponent (clone or creature) can now take its enemy by surprise (default value 7%). Taking an enemy by surprise allows starting the combat directly in range and attacking twice
Introduction of 2 new levels on Marama
Constant environmental constraints
This aspect will shape the future of the game, requiring players to utilize special gear in particular places. For instance, we've introduced persistent chemical damage in the new levels on Marama. This addition will compel players to adapt their gear when exploring specific locations, such as dealing with extreme temperatures on Helios or Titan.
Revamp of some tasks
The tasks that could only be completed with a pass have been removed. Addition of new tasks have been added that require players to set up mining operations and extract resources. These tasks are designed to familiarize SD players with other aspects of the game, such as mining, and can be easily completed using the free rig.
Addition of new types of tasks
You will have to find particular elements in some levels. Read carefully the descriptions for each task, as they might give you some clues on where to look. The last tasks will also be connected, so pay attention to details!
Expansion of the skill tree
Addition of extra skills in the skill tree.
Gear and Packs
Release of the Scout collection as NFTs
Release of the equipment pack
The equipment pack contains a random pack, either a Pilot pack (90%) or a Scout pack (10%), each containing one random gear.
When fusing pilot NFTs, chance to receive a scout NFT (same logic as Arcadian fusion)
Possibility to convert your Pilot gears into Scout gears (in-game items, not NFTs):
Common Scout : requires 2 Common Pilot + materials and tokens
Rare Scout : requires 1 Common scout + 1 Rare pilot + materials and tokens
Epic scout : requires 1 Rare scout + 1 Epic pilot + materials and tokens
Legendary scout : 1 Epic scout + 1 Legendary Pilot + materials and tokens
Ultimate scout : 1 Legendary scout + 1 Legendary pilot + materials and tokens
Tokenomics
Slight increase in the cost in tokens to craft consumables
Increase printing time/cost
Reduce craft time
Increase in the cost in tokens to craft common equipment
Price to craft Energy in Minium increased (in average 4 times)
Many small adjustments on in-game prices
Decrease in gear drop rate (3.5% to 1.5%). It will become harder to find gears, and therefore, it is advised to use materials to regularly craft gears, not only the strongest one.
