The following section of the wiki will briefly describe the different types of games a player can choose.
In NBM, players can actively explore Arcadia, passively mine resources, or try to collect various materials. Several game modes are offered, and everyone is free to master the aspects of the game they like the most. The following sections will provide a quick description of each game mode along with its specific features.
Arcadian Mining is a stellar-system-wide corporate mining simulation in which players acquire land and equipment to create semi-passive mining operations that produce any of four unique resources. Operations can also generate NFTs.
Each player can decide the type of resource they would like to mine, determine the size of each mining operation, and more. Finally, each resource can be sold for real dollars.
So, thanks to NBM, each player truly own his mining operations!
After the first explorers set foot on Arcadia between the years 2064 and 2070, some miners realized that a unique area on New Terra’s surface was particularly rich in resources. This region, which quickly piqued the interest of many miners, became the subject of intense disputes and rivalries.
To peacefully resolve the matter, the Arcadian council acquired the area and named it Aperta. The council made Aperta open to public mining, granting equal rights to every miner as long as they conducted their activities peacefully.
Aperta was divided into 400 parcels on which players can place spare units to extract resources, mine NFTs and more.
Shadow Depths is a seasonal, active, run-based game in which players control a clone to explore deep Arcadian caves containing resource deposits. Unfortunately, these caves also house hostile creatures determined to destroy and consume the clone!
Players can equip their clone, select the difficulty and length of the run, and watch from safety as their clone acquires resources, equipment, and materials.
Players can use resources acquired in Shadow Depths to enhance their corporate mining operations and/or fund further Shadow Depths exploration by improving their clone's station
With more than 10 planets and 13 different moons, Arcadia has a lot to offer! After the release of NBM 1.5 Reborn, each player received an Arcadex for free. The Arcadex is a device that can record and store information about foreign elements that a player encounters on Arcadia.
From hostile creatures to weird mushrooms to delicious fish, it is up to each player to find and categorize Arcadian materials. In a later version, players will be able to collect them and either sell them on the Arcadian market or use them to create powerful Nanotonics, elixirs with advanced healing or enhancing properties.
To be able to play these different modes, players must acquire NBM Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). For those who are not familiar with NFTs, the next section of this Wiki will describe what NFTs are and how they work.
