ECONOMIC RULES FOR ARCADIAN MINING

To ensure that the tokenomics aspect of the game remains realistic and viable, each operation is subject to a certain set of rules that ensure economic stability in Arcadia. From the left tab to the right tab, each operation adheres to the following rules:

As mentioned in the III-RESOURCESsection, each resource has a maximum supply, representing the quantities of each resource present in Arcadia. As players extract resources, the underground supply decreases, while the circulating supply increases.

Every action in the game that burns resources (e.g., leveling up, fusions, upgrading Shadow Depths items) replenishes the underground supply and decreases the circulating supply.

The extraction factors represent the quantities of resources that are yet to be extracted.

If at least 5% of the total supply of a resource has been extracted (extraction factor = 95%), it then becomes harder to extract this particular resource, and the yields of every operation are multiplied by the extraction factor, thus decreasing their output.

Examples:

  • An Actium operation mines 1000 Actium per hour. The players have extracted 3% of the total Actium supply, setting up the Actium extraction factor at 97%. Since this quantity extracted is below the 5% threshold, the output of the operation remains the same: 1000 Actium/hour.

  • An Actium operation mines 1000 Actium per hour. The players have extracted 6% of the total Actium supply, setting up the Actium extraction factor at 94%. This value is above the 5% threshold, so the output of the operation is multiplied by 0.94. The operation now extracts 940 Actium/hour (1000 x 0.94).

  • An Actium operation mines 1000 Actium per hour. The players have extracted 30% of the total Actium supply, setting up the Actium extraction factor at 70%. This value is above the 5% threshold, so the output of the operation is multiplied by 0.70. The operation now extracts 700 Actium/hour (1000 x 0.7).

Therefore, it is up to every player to ensure that each resource is properly recycled to maintain extraction factors within an appropriate range that will not impact the overall mining yields.
